MENU CHOICES 

SAVORY SELECTIONS

 

Cocktail Piroshki: light, golden baked oval shaped pastry dough with your choice of beef, mushroom, cabbage or spinach and egg fillings.

 

Blini: delicate crepes, brushed lightly with sour cream and filled with smoked salmon or salmon caviar.

 

Potato vareniki: crescent shaped dumplings, filled with potatoes, steamed until they look like fat little pillows. Served with caramelized onions.

 

Pel'meni: tender, round, beef filled dumplings sauteed and served with a light curry sauce

 

Mini sandwiches: smoked salmon and cucumber slices, egg salad with olives, or ham

 

Eggplant caviar: a classic spread of eggplant and tomatoes, seasoned with dill and served with breads or crackers

 

Other selections: We also offer an array of Russian style salads and other savories for those wanting heartier fare.

 

 

DESSERT SELECTIONS

For dessert we offer an assortment of tea cakes (apple-apricot, raspberry-almond, black currant-frangipani, chocolate-caramel, lemon curd), as well as mini versions of our napoleon, pavlova, and chocolate walnut meringue torte.

 

Our cheese desserts include - blinchiki (blintzes), vareniki (dumplings) and syrniki (patties)

 

The standard tea service includes our Russian style brewed tea or herbals, four selections from the savory menu and three selections from the dessert menu. 


The price for our standard tea service is $25 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

 

For more festive events we offer wine, champagne, mimosas, bellinis and additional menu selections.

 

Banquets At Katia's

 

The list below reflects the wide selection of zakuski (appetizers) and desserts, and the per person price for each item. There is a variety of menu choices and it is easy to determine the cost per guest using your budget parameters as a guide and thus allowing you to "build your own banquet".

Our soups and entrees, as listed on our restaurant menu, are charged for individually for the price noted. Entrees, however, can be served family style or ordered individually.


Add $3.00 per person for each appetizer below:

Dill pickles * Marinated mushrooms * Eggplant caviar
Sauerkraut * Cucumber and Tomato Salad

Luncheon size piroshki - beef, mushroom or cabbage ($3.50 each)

 

Add $5.00 per person for each appetizer below:

Salade Olivier * Vinaigrette * Shrimp and Pea salad
Stolichny salad * Herring w/boiled potatoes 
Smoked salmon * Salmon caviar * Pork or Chicken Holodetz
Beef, mushroom or cabbage cocktail piroshki ($2.00 each)
Potato Vareniki * Sauteed pelmeni with curry sauce

 

Add $6.00 per person for each appetizer below:

Single blin with sour cream and a choice of
salmon caviar, smoked salmon, or herring
Sturgeon in Aspic * Mushroom julienne

 

Add $10.00 per person for tea, coffee and pastry

 

Napoleon, Pavlova, Chocolate Walnut Meringue Torte
Cheese desserts - Blinchiki, Vareniki, Syrniki

All drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic,
are for a separate charge.

 

Corkage is $20.00 per 750 ml bottle.  

 

All prices are subject to 8.5% sales tax and an 20% gratuity.
